Still and All... Why Bother?
A Victim of a Series of Accidents
"I was a victim of a series of accidents. As are we all." - The Sirens of Titan. Our existences are made up of accidents. One out of place occurance after another to lead up to this one particular moment in this one particular place in time. These are the reasons we are who we are. Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt
- Slaughterhouse Five. Because there is still beauty in the world. Because there is a great deal of strife that will never find you. Because there is so much still left to see and experience. You only get one shot. And this is it.
You Are Not Alone
"Still and all, why bother? Here's my answer. Many people need desperately to receive this message: I feel and think much as you do, care about many of the things you care about, although most people do not care about them. You are not alone." - Timequake. And when you realize you are not, and will never truly be, alone, you move forward, finally feeling contentment. And though the world and everything in it will never be perfect, this moment is - and it is one to be cherished. "So it goes..."
